MasterCard stock has outperformed the S&P 500 during April: its stock is up about 8% over the month, while the S&P 500 index has moved up only 5%. Despite a nice run this month, shares of MasterCard (using the RSI, or relative strength index) do not appear to be overbought. Looking at several other technical indicators, MasterCard has broken through its 10-day simple moving average today and has jumped about $26 higher than its 50-day SMA, which is near $212. MasterCard Incorporated, together with its subsidiaries, provides transaction processing and related services to customers principally in support of their credit, deposit access, electronic cash and automated teller machine payment card programs, and travelers cheque programs.
